WHY I LOVE WHAT I DO
It feels so good to love what you do!! I feel so much gratitude because years ago when I was introduced to this business I was a waitress working at night to be home with my children during the day. I thought it was going to be a temporary job when I first started, but many years later, I was still waiting tables.
At that time, I was praying for an answer. I knew there had to be a better way. I was so tired of trading time for money and living paycheck to paycheck. I desperately wanted more time and more money to travel and take our family on fun vacations.
Well, my prayers were answered when one day someone came into the restaurant where I was working and had a product on their table. It was a nutritional supplement I had previously been taking and loved, but at the time just did not have the extra money to spend. When I went over to their table, I was told there was a business behind the product. We made an appointment so that I could hear the information.
Funny thing was, I did not even know I was an “open minded person”!!! But I certainly was!! Ask yourself, are you an open-minded person who would want to hear all the information and get the facts before making a decision?
Anyway, I heard the information, and I did not understand any of it!! I did not have a business background. At that time, my husband said, “what if it works?” Well, that night I could not sleep. I kept thinking “what if it works? I don’t have anything to lose, and if it does work, I sure would have a lot to gain!” I proceeded to become an Unfranchise Owner at that time!!
I love that we are called the “Unfranchise” business just like franchising there was a system in place. I just had to learn and follow a simple system to start earning additional income. The “un” part is super important because we are not like a franchise because we don’t have large start-up costs, territorial restrictions, and/or long hours. We teach people on a part-time basis how to build this business alongside what they are currently doing. Once they match the income at their job, then they can decide to stay or go. How would you feel if you had that option? That freedom!!
Oh, yes, freedom!! Being my own boss, working the hours I want with who I want and having a team of over 500 individuals supporting me and other Unfranchise Owners – guiding us and giving us the necessary tools to be successful. Yes, it is amazing!!
Now you may be saying “well, it sure does sound too good to be true”. Once I started understanding it, I thought the same thing, but then I found out it is not too good to be true. I needed to grow myself (and that is a lifelong journey for me) to become a successful business owner.
All I know, is there is a vehicle available for the average person financially to create wealth. We have the proven system. This company has created over 500 millionaires, and I am proud to say that I am one of them. If I can do it, I know anyone who is open minded to hear all the information and is willing to follow a proven system, will also be a hopeless success. It’s just a matter of time.
I also love the fact that I have a purpose. Our beloved CEO and President, J.R. Ridinger, always spoke about “The Dash”. It’s a beautiful poem. It talks about how on a tombstone it shows the date someone is born and the date someone dies, but the most important thing on the tombstone is the “dash” between the two dates. What are you doing with your "dash"?
This business has given me the opportunity to impact others in a positive way, coaching others how they can create an additional income stream through our unique and powerful system, believing in others sometimes before they even believe in themselves. It is so rewarding to help others succeed and achieve their dreams – this is my WHY today!
Yes, in addition to always striving to be a great mom and grandmother, I do love helping others feel the best they can feel and live the lifestyle they are so deserving of. And most of all HAVE FUN IN THE PROCESS!!
